Logistics Coordinator/Dispatch

Requirements will be a flexible schedule that includes weekends and some holidays.

A successful candidate should be able to adjust to last minute schedule changes and work with drivers to schedule delivery/pickup efficiently.

A strong individual will supervise the execution of daily scheduled jobs and maintain and cultivate all outside customer relationships.

Education/Qualifications

1.

A high school diploma or GED.

Customer service and some dispatch experience.

1.

Possess a working knowledge of the daily operation of a trucking company within the Oil and Gas Industry

2.

Knowledge of water hauling techniques and safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements/Skills

1.

Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

2.

Strong phone communication and customer service skills.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor truck movements via GPS system, update as required.

Build and distribute daily dispatch instructions to drivers, assign trucks.

Report out speeding violations, billable vs non billable time, customer service failures, spills, breakdowns.

Organize all driver paperwork and provide coding for office manager.

Provide a weekly truck allocation projection to hauling group.

Monitor and report out on driver hours, ensure no shortfalls.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Communicate effectively utilizing email, text, phone, and interpersonal communication.

Ensure drivers follow all Safety policies and procedures.

The dispatcher role is not a physically demanding job.

Employee will be required to sit for long periods of time, work irregular hours in peak cycles and emergency situations and have the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Proper safety equipment is provided and will need to be worn at all times.

Position is generally limited to indoor work, however outdoor work in all weather conditions may be required from time to time.
