HRIS Business Analyst

This is a Full-time position in Columbus, AR posted February 5, 2021.

n nnAs part of the Global HRIS Function, a primary mission of the HR Technology Team is to design, deliver and support superior HR technology solutions that enable Human Resources to meet the Human Capital needs of the company.

This COE works closely with the other HR COEs, the HR Business Partners and other Corporate Functions to give HR solutions that support Vertiv Colleagues, Managers and Business Leaders so that they can focus their attention on serving our clients.nn nnThe HRIS Business Analyst will be a part o HRIS Operations team working closely with the HR PMO, Global HR Technology and Analytics team to support the vision and strategies for HR Systems.

This role will partner with various IT and HR Managers, HR Centres of Excellence, Project Managers, SMEs and vendors to support existing HRIS systems.

HRIS Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, creating testing strategy and scripts for deploying new HR technology solutions and processes.

HRIS Business Analyst will also support testing of regularly scheduled patches and system builds.nn nn Performance Objectives:n nn nn nn nn Excellence nn Gather and document business requirements based on PMO framework for HR Systems projects.

Create test scripts and testing strategy for system enhancements and support the testing of scheduled system updates and upgrades.

Serve as a Tier-2 support for HR Service Center for data administration, user errors and system issues as needed.

Support HRIS solution design by developing business cases and project documentation for HR operations for all regions.

Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develope optimization strategies.

Work with HR Business Partner Team, COEs and Global HR Technology Team to gain stakeholder support from the outset.

Work with the HR COE to support the roll out and testing of break-fixes and enhancements.

Represent in global project meetings on solutions adoption and actions.

Support local and global data alignment, audit, harmonization of data standards, mass uploads.

Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Develop test scripts for enhancements as needed, coordinate and carry out system testing, UAT, roll-out communication & training according to global framework and timeline.

nn Clients nn Ensure HR projects and enhancements support the business objectives of the HR organization with specific emphasis on the core global systems.

When necessary, work collaboratively with IT to develop and maintain regional HR technology solutions.

Collaborate with HR Leadership and SMEs to report and audit global and regional HR data standards.

Work together closely with HRIS Director to ensure effective day-to-day HRIS support and service delivery.

Provide HRIS business analysis support for local HR systems processes, systems requirement studies, support migration for HRIS initiatives.

Support local users on defining logic for ad-hoc data report generation and document the requirements for the global reporting team.

nn People nn Ability to educate and train the trainers on how to use the systems for which the analyst has principle responsibility.

Ability to work with teams in a global matrix, multi-cultural organization.n nn nn nn The Requirementsn nn nn nn nnEssential:nn 3+ years of experience as a business analyst supporting HR projects and systems.

1 -3 years of experience delivering or supporting Oracle HCM and/or other HR Cloud applications.

Advanced Excel skills required.

Strong knowledge of HR systems capabilities and core HR processes.

Proven ability to work alone (self-starter) and with a virtual/remote team.

Strong knowledge and ability to author functional and technical specification documents.

Ability to work with process owners to support how the systems can enable the end to end processes, subject matter experts and IT counterparts to define functional requirements and specifications for new technology solutions, applications, or systems processes.

nnDesirable:nn Experience working with organizations comprised of diverse business groups – including those resulting from corporate/national cultures: i.e.

those formed via global merger and acquisitions.
