Retirement Services Coordinator

Currently, we are looking for a Retirement Services Coordinator to join the ArcBest team.

As a member, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Retirement Services area.

This position requires wide-ranging decision making regarding retirement related decisions, excellent customer service skills, as well as extensive contact with Plan participants.

Your contribution may include:

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, Company and Plan knowledge as well as sound judgment when assisting participants.

Process new enrollments and deferral changes.

Calculate and process weekly wires and ACH transfers of deferrals to the recordkeeper.

Calculate and process monthly match payments to all recordkeepers.

Calculate and process the monthly RRSP contribution and match transfer to Canada.

Maintain files and assist with the defined contribution plans, working with employees, agents, consultants, and plan carriers.

Assist in the day to day administration of the US and Puerto Rico 401(k) Plans, and the Canadian RRSP Plan.

Perform necessary testing and accounting reconciliations necessary for the Retirement Plans as assigned.

Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local laws; including requirements for retirement plans.

Provide excellent customer service by phone, email, and in person for plan participants and spouses.

Conduct new hire orientations.

Review payroll deductions and arrears and make or suggest necessary adjustments.

Present new ideas and suggestions for improving various eligibility and reporting processes.

Serve in various roles as needed for committees and special projects.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

As a Retirement Services Coordinator, you will be a member of the ArcBest People Services team in Fort Smith, AR.

Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

Before doing so, please make sure you meet the minimum requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree, preferred.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years experience with Retirement Plans, Accounting, Finance, or Banking experience, preferred.

Proven track record of meeting performance expectations for specialist role.

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Other Requirements: Working knowledge of the Companys retirement plan structure, preferred.
