Customer Success Representative


This is a Contract position in Searcy, AR posted March 11, 2021.

Eaton’s Hydraulics Sector is currently seeking two Customer Success Representatives to join our team. These positions will be based within 50 miles of Eden Prairie, MN and Searcy, AR. Position Overview The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative will be improving the value that Eaton provides our key customers and improving our standing as a valued supplier. This will be accomplished through management of our customers’ scorecards and initiatives aimed at improving our results, the proactive monitoring of open orders and addressing supply chain constraints without impact to our customers. This Customer Service Representative will be the voice of sales team and the customer to ensure that orders are getting expedited properly and customers responses are provided as timely as possible. This role will supply focused services to Eaton Hydraulics Key customers as assigned. In addition, this individual will serve as an integral part of the plant team. In This Function You Will Proactively monitor open orders for assigned customers and take action to address supply chain and operational issues (component shortages, capacity constraints, outside vendor processes etc.) without impact to assigned customers. Facilitate proactive communications with key customers’ order statuses and, as necessary, recovery plans and timing. Coordinate changes to, or cancellation of, in-house orders/backorders for replacement parts for correcting errors (shortages, wrong items shipped, etc.) for assigned customers. Utilize tools such as Eaton Websites, customer websites/portals, and other internal systems to ensure delivery to assigned customers; manage planning for these customers. Receive, investigate and respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, orders, and product/service issues Maintain key supply chain metrics (OTD) for assigned customers and lead/influence the larger cross-functional team in root cause problem solving and proactive improvement initiatives to achieve year-over-year improvement in Eaton performance and customer scorecard metrics (where applicable). Work closely with Eaton site leaders, account managers and plant facility support groups; work directly with logistics group. Participate in and/or lead Lean improvement events (Kaizen, 5S, Supermarket Implementation, root cause problem solving, etc.) to align Eaton processes to assigned customers’ expectations. Exhibit a high level of ownership of assigned customers’ scorecards and develop and implement improvement plans. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or within the future. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Eden Prairie, MN or Searcy, AR will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or Engineering from an accredited institution. APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) or CPIM Certification (Certified in Production and Inventory Management). A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Operations or Materials. A minimum of one (1) years of supply chain experience using standard MRP (Material Requirement Planning) system. A minimum of one (1) year in a customer facing role. Experience with Lean manufacturing tools and structured problem solving. Position Criteria Working knowledge of PC utilizing Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Mfg. Pro, and Pharos. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented problem-solving skills and corrective action methodology. Negotiation and conflict management skills; professional presence.
